best way to upgrade to 1440p

I'm on 1440p and SLI 670s (2GB)

In order to get a decent upgrade, I would need to buy SLI 970s, from looking at the graphs. 1x970 is similar performance to what I have now, except where I am vRAM limited, where it shows nice gains.

I would say 1x970 should be enough.

970 this is wear 4GB comes into play as well.

There's no law saying you need to run games at full 2560x1440 res.

It looks so much better when run at native res though.
