Best way to upload some photos

I have some skiing photos that need to be sent to 11 people. They total just below 1gb in size. Would the easiest way be to upload 5 200mb chunks to rapidshare then give them the links?

I could burn them to cds but cant be bothered sending 22 cds out to 11 addresses

Can't you resize the photos first?

I'm sure they'd prefer sensible sizes..

It is possible to just use rapidshare, most files i get are around 700mb, split into groups of 200,200,200,100 file.

I would resize them, stick them in a bucket and email the link.

Re-size, send to people.
Post originals online in full format on some web-space. Allow people to download them if they wish.

I would assume each photo is rather large? Resize them before you do anything.

use picasa3 upload them to picasa web it's great you have a resize option depending on what you want others to do with them. One of the options is printing which resizes to 1600X1200 which is ideal if those at the other end want to print also it means the pics weigh only 256-300 Kb each instead of 2-3 MB

I doubt everyone would want the full size originals, resize them to something more suitable for web use and maybe upload the originals somewhere if people want them, even then they probably won't want all of the originals.

That's one hell of a camera, even a 50mp Hasselblad only produces 150mb TIFF or 65mb RAW files.
