Best Wireless Cable Router

Hi guys, looking to buy a new wireless router for my house, and not sure which unit to get. Im currently looking at trying to get a WRT54G V2 but im having trouble getting a hold of these. Im just wondering if there are any other good reliable routers out there that i could use instead.

What will be used on this router will be:
Bittorrent
High bandwidth newsgroups
Gaming
File Sharing
Internet

I will also be having 5 PC's running on this network. 1 permantely on wireless, and a laptop that switches between wireless and wired.

I have been considering this router WRT54GS

to replace my dying (I suspect) Netgear g router.

but what is the difference between the one I identified and the WRT54GL ?? :confused:

Should I save myself a tenner ??

The GL runs on linux and as i recall has more internal ram which is always preferred with a router. Having more ram means you can flash a full version of the dd-wrt firmware which has features normally found on far more expensive routers
