Try searching for the modem name and also "bethere" or "adsl2+" or "bridge mode".

If you're not having problems then no. If you are, get a cheap netgear DG834GT (sky branded) from the bay and reflash it with the DGTeam firmware. No problems in games, more stable and faster sync speed.

Is it the 2600 or the 585 which needs putting in to bridge mode?

Is the 2600 an ethernet router? (e.g. WAN port is ethernet) I'm really not up on the Drayteks sorry

If it *is* an ethernet router then it's the 585 that needs putting in bridge mode.

Ive got a DG834N based on Broadcom chipset, synchs well with Be's Broadcom DSLAM. With **DGteam firmware** it works like a charm.(Dont use the standard firmware its v flaky)
