Beths mri cancelled

Had a phone call today to tell us the MRI for beth tomorrow which we have waited 5 months for has been canceled due to them booking the wrong type of scan on a completly different machine :mad:

Im absolutly pulling the remaining pieces of my hair out here . I feel so stressed and angry I cant put it into words .

We are now due to go up to London on the 12th of November for a meeting with the group of doctors to discuss everything including results of a meeting they had without informing us about beth on the 8th of October . I think a few words will be said but I know I must keep my cool if I hope to get anywhere
 
Quite how you have managed to keep yourself sane with all this i dont know, you are a better man than me thats for sure. I would have gone postal by now with all the mess ups they have made.

Stay strong and stay cool thats all i can say.
 
Oh man that absolutley sucks. Is there any news or idea when they will get the scan in as you have been jipped out of this one?

I would go and give them a piece of your mind but be careful with the doctors...its not their fault that some admin/technician has overbooked I wouldn't have thought.

Stay strong for your little'un fella, she's worth it! Good luck and let us know what the score is!
 
Hope something can be done and she won't have to wait anything like that long again.
 
make sure beth is not in the room with you and them and then let ****ing rip on them. how can they keep making so many mistakes! don't be polite with them, demand answers to all your questions and find out who is responsible for being so bloody incompetent!
 
Luke, can you do anything about getting referred to Addenbrookes? The offer to get you bumped up the waiting list is still there..
 
Keep notes on everything. Every letter, every correspondance. get it signed and dated if you can. Might come in handy some point in the future, if you need proof of how slow they've been.

Mate you've got better patience than me, I'd have murdered someone by now.

Sorry to hear that matey - from reading your past threads on the subject of ****-ups that the NHS have done, I am surprised like most others you haven't had a big shout at everyone involved.
