Betting on the football?

Right, some help needed here. Just registered as a new customer of paddypower and it says your entitled to a £50 free bet if I deposit £50 into my paddypower account and make a bet with MY £50.

Right say if I do that and I dont win anything but then I get the £50 free bet, do I have to use this money on the bet or can I put it back into my account?

Usually the free money can't be returned it has to be put on bets.

To start yourself off I'd bet on something very likely to win with crap odds. Then at least you have your £50 back in your account. I think you'll be ok doing that - but don't quote me on it. :)
 
WRT the paddypower money back bet, if i bet on man yoo to win in normal time and barca win in normal time i get my money back right?
 
Well i placed £5 on Messi + Rooney to score and again Messi + Hernandez to score tonight now 2nd one didnt pay off so Skybet gave me that £5 back but as other one did odds were 6/1 so ive ended up with £40 from £5 so i cant complain :D

Be careful with this sort of thing as some bookies have minimum odds restrictions in relation to qualifying for free bets e.g. evens or greater.

would have got £291.25 from £10 if Texas won....but what made it worse they lost due to 2 stupid errors and if i original chose Braves i would have won which i was originally going to pick but decided on Texas due to the pitcher plus the recent results.

Just goes to show never change your mind when picking bets.:(
