Between Shoes and Trainers

I need to buy some new shoes and I've scoured the shops and a couple of online places but I can't find what I'm after.

I want some shoes that will go well with jeans and tshirt. Proper shoes just look wrong with a tshirt as they're far too smart, but trainers look a bit *****.

So i'm after something in between.

I usd to have a pair of suede shoes that did the job well but they've fallen to pieces and I can't see any more about in the shops. I've also seen those trainers in River Island that are a bit more 'smart', white with bits of grey and tan and velcro straps. They're alright but a bit meh.

Any ideas?

I've looked on Schuh and Soletrader online but didn't really see anything.

Adidas Adistar 80s in black or brown. I have them in both colours (and in yellow, not quite what you're after though!):

Black with blue sole

Brown with gum sole

Not overly smart, and not a whacking great pair of Nike Air Jordans or something.
