BF Hardline Visceral Games

EA don't get it. They thought we didn't like medal of honor and the story / concept of it

The big execs on the board completely don't get that what we hated was another half assed first person shooter with a boring, stupid, short, on rails single player and another unoriginal unimaginative boring multiplayer that didn't attempt anything radical, and was just another FPS game to try and cash in on the COD money

So they think the problem is medal of honor, cancel it, sack the developers that made it (danger close) then proceed to get another developer to do the exact same thing all over again, including the same stupidly priced limited editions etc.. but this time stick battlefield in the name, because that will make it sell right ?

Its possible that DICE / Visceral may actually make a game worth playing, despite the ineptness of EA. But i'm not holding out hope. Judging by the "fall 2014" release date this again will have to be done by October to make sure it beats the next COD game to market.

Let's hope its actually ready by October unlike BF4.

you kinda put what i would have in words :p

single player on moh 2010 was dog**** . i couldn't even play it so boring.

mp had great reg though but many may of forget what happened, they released dlc straight away no one brought it game was dead like 1 month later.

also the mp map design was very poor.

funny thing is Dice EA we are going to concentrate on fixing bf4 and work on nothing until we have done that :p oooh by the way... :D

there was a great twitter message from Visceral dev yesterday. he posted loving the great positive feedback responses, yet every response was negative under his twitter :p typical devs not actually listening to what people want.

all those who said there wasn't going to be another release for October can be in no doubt now how the whole bf franchise is just a caching and nothing to do with gaming .

its money and when your product is controlled solely by it. you know the outcome. a mess.

you cant make a treble aaa title new engine in such a short time with no bugs.

well im surprised jack hasn't been taken on by EA. so hes not going to take a bad stance on it . it would harm his chances of future content.

yes the ronku program gives extra cash for great reviews. how can they say the truth.they will be removed from that no more exclusives.

for eg jackfrogs does a video on this exclusive hes probably gunna get £1000-1500 on adsense alone thats per video on it. is he going to lose that each video by saying in first game its crap or just say yes its amazing give me some more ea cash please? haha

i always remember what a dev said to me once

do as your told and you can have what you want :p

kinda sums it up tbh with game access. stroke the shaft get what you want :D

we all know deep down why visc were brought in to do this. bf4 was a mess same stuff all over again dice/ea can say wooah we arnt doing this yes dice are doing mp with visc even though they said they wouldn't do anything before bf4 is fixed.

youtubers shouldn't be doing game fixes or suggesting them unless they are testing properly on them. by that i mean base level almost job like not a casual hr at it here and there .

also if serious about making the fps titles great again they need to listen to the top tier of competitive people not joe im on xbox pad simpson on hardcore :p

the fact they do listen to those kind of players mean its for the money and the mass audience which translates to a poor game for anyone outside of the bracket which is pc enthusiasts :(

they could keep the game as it is and let modders do the work.

promod made cod 4 a comp monster.

promod was being worked on for bf3.

so they don't have to totally break the game down but if they would let modders tweak for pc only then they would save most of the flack and let the enthusiasts get what they want.

Dice are helping on mp. dont be fooled.

"Visceral is leading the development of Hardline on both SP and MP, with collaboration from DICE."
