Bf1 upgrade

Yep I think I'll take your advice for the build. Hopefully this problem is with the sound lag will fix this if not I'm going to go crazy.

Thats what is odd, multiple sound card (im guessing different makes, certainly is for the onboard sound chip thus different drivers) which can only leave a software/windows issue or somehow a hardware fault with the motherboard (sounds unlikely)

Stulid one thing for sure is it drives you mad. In fact the lag in the sound causes the game to lag even if you have good Internet connection, good sound card, good headset or sound speaker. It's like a stutter in the sound.
I just hope it's because I have an old motherboard. I don't really want to buy a new PC if all I need to replace is the motherboard and cpu

It's not just for gaming though it's a problem with YouTube and just media in general. I tried reinstalling thesound card asus driver so many times.

Well thats the thing.

Youve tried ASUS sound card or card's, could it be their driver.

Have you tried using the onboard sound chip again (it is realtek and thus no ASUS driver) and do a fresh reinstall of windows (to eradicate any ASUS driver).

You can use DSR (distance selling regulation) buy a creative soundcard and try it, if it doesnt help just return it and then go for a new board/cpu+ram.

If I do a fresh install of windows I will have to reinstall everythin? . In other words I don't have a clue how to run a computer other than turn it on and play games on it.

Yes you will lose it all.

But if you are game, the forum will help you go through the process and which drivers etc to install, there are also many many Youtube videos showing how it is done.

I'm going to get n for the safe route of buying a creative soundcard, see if it works and if not go through the process of reinstalling Windows 10.

Do you know any good creative sound cards I can use?

What BIOS do you have on the board? was just looking at the notes for F18i and it mentions something about the sound (but that would be the onboard chip)

It should be there, you can only disable/enable it in the BIOS, not delete it.

Its under the peripherals section.
