bf2 controls not registering

hi, i am having a problem at the moment with my keyboard and bf2 registering with each other properly.

Main problem is that it will only let me use left CTRL as my crouch control, now when i input into the control tab that i want right CTRL to be my crouch is comes up showing that i want right CTRL i click on apply then restart the game but it will only when i push left CTRL. i have tried using many different keys but even though it says it is setup for a different key the left CTRL one takes priority. wondering if there is a config file i can change it with. .....

When I set my keys up their is a massive pause bvetween pressing and BF2 taken the key.

ah i have sorted it by using the config file now all works fine
