BF2 Memory Error message ...

Ok was on playing BF2 SF and got the 'there is a problem with your connection ' message ingame ... then heard a fault beep .. so alt tab to desktop to be greated with this in a little error message box:

BF2 Memory Error (this in blue panel of window)

memory.dllichunkPools:free fails , should not come here!

Anyone any ideas ?

On re alt tab back into game it was a blank screen .
 
Lol. I always got "Memory sanity error: Memory doesnt seem sane" when playing BF2142. Good luck with that error message . . . . .

I would only worry if it comes up more than once.
 
LOL yeah m8 I saw that one pop a lot when I googles my problem .. So far its back to normal .. all I did (read this fix on another forum after a search) was delete my Temp Internet files (took a few mins as well ... oops) and eveything seems back to norm.

.... Mind you maybe this was only the first stage of my memory going insane ... ;)
 
Funniest thing is, how does it know? Does it have a memory scanner in my pc? I dont recall plugging in a Psionic device. Maybe thats what the PCI-E 1x slots are REALLY for . . . . Reading you mind.
 
I've been getting a memory error in bf2 lately, happens a while after I quit the game sometimes :S, seems its been happening since I installed Desert Conflict mod.
