Which one do you play more?

I bough SF the other day but not really played it much.

So which one do you play more?

SF i find more fun due to the lack of planes. The planes in bf2 always end up making me feel like i can't be bothered.

BF2. Not that many SF servers around any more and it runs really bad compared to BF2 anyway.

Hmm runs ok on a decent spec pc and the quantity of servers is no measure of quality.

BF2.
special forces does run poorly compared to the standard game and more people play the vanilla edition

BF2 runs fine , SF runs ok. Not terrible , but no where near as good as standard bf2.

just played a few good games on the *WKU* server, 32 player ran like a dream.

shame sf doesnt have that many active servers cause vanilla bf2 maps are quite boring atm.

granted the night maps are a pain but ghost town and warlord ( code name 'teddy bear' ) are vastly better maps than karkand , karkand & karkand

it does, and it's a shame, I really like some of the maps on there. I play standard more but if you have a decent computer then Special Forces is a great addition to the BF2 experience. Just be warned, I run BF2 wonderfully, but SF runs like a dawg

I usually play BF2 but SF can be quite good when you find a decent server/team.

I play BF2 all the time and very rarely special forces. While the some additional equipment is a welcome change to the classes I just didn't like the levels. I much preferred the BF2 levels.

I just wish you had the extra equipment in BF2 and use it on those levels instead of the special forces levels.

wanna get spawn raped on karkand over and over and watch the idiots hotel glitch
or maybe try wake on US and get blown to bits by a j-10 over and over?
maybe sharqi hotel helicopter pwnage ? etc etc etc

forget the night maps and sf comes into its own, warlord is widely considered to be one of bf2's greatest maps by the community.

sf aint as popular but that means less idiots on the servers and more fun,

Yes i agree that pretty much sums up why i play mainly sf. I like the russian maps.

SF is good too as it mixes up the gameplay nicely. I love some of the maps and the gameplay is more ground based. You get the biggest infantry battles in SF on some maps which dont happen in the main game.

You might as well buy the combo pack' Battlefield 2 Deluxe Edition' as it is £17.99 in some places online with free delivery. Features the main game and SF.

Damn straight.
Armour whores can't dominate the map, no jets/choppers to ruin things, fantastic urban combat and the best indoor fighting you'll ever see in the palace.

Warlord for the goddam win

I'm currently playing the 1.4 patch infantry only servers. Great fun, and decent scores as I'm not constantly being obliterated by armour or jets.

Don't play karkand or maybe spawn at another flag. Might be a shock to most players of that map , but there are more flags than the hotel one.
Take a blackhawk to 500+ feet , j-10's rarely go that high.
Don't spawn at the hotel then.

Seems far too many people bought the wrong game , did the vehicles on the back of the box not give away the fact that there are vehicles in the game.

Fair play BF 2 has got to be the worst most annoying game I have ever played online.................

But .........

I keep going back for more !!

All they have to do is get rid of the plane whores and attack heli`s and you would have a better balanced game.

Plane whores go play G-Loc or something .... :eek:
