BF2 PC Xbox360 ?

PC compared to 360 version is a lot different. The campain for 360 sucks but the multiplayer is worth buying for, its easy and the graphics for the game in general are great. The achievements arent very easy though

I know exactly what you mean, the medals are impossible to get if your playing properly. They also used to let you host your own games which I think theyve stopped because you could just invite your mates to get them all for you :p. I never had the game when they did that though, I just saw it referring to create your own game on xbox live when I couldn't find that option. Anyone know how to get the majority of the online achievements easily?
 
IMO its darn good on the 360 and my most played online game.The servers i join all seem quite busy too.Never got on with the pc version but 2142 is good.
 
I've only played the demo, but I absolutely hated it... I wanted to like it, as I thoroughly enjoyed BF2 on the PC and the prospect of controlling vehicles seamlessly with the joypad was an appealing prospect. However, the reality was that, for me, it totally missed the point of the Battlefield games. None of the elements that made BF2 enjoyable seemed to translate to the 360 version. It just lacked that 'epic' quality that the PC version has in abundance. Nothing can replace the sheer madness of a 64 player city map.

If these things don't concern you then I suppose it might prove to be a fun game.

There isn't really a way to get them easily (especially the sniper medal) unless you either get someone on the opposing team to keep running into your sniper scope.

In theory the helicopter medal should be very easy due to the rockets causing massive damage on the ground however actually getting the helicopter is virtually impossible due to either people camping for it (and then team killing anyone for it) or due to the fact it takes forvever to respawn.
