Is there anyway to disable artillery for offline games ?

Its really annoying me that i climb a massive tower as sniper and as soon as i get to the top, or jump on one out of a helicopter, bang bang bang dead they artillery strike me. Wheres the skill in that ?

Is it in a config file or something ?

Thats just your opinion, I sometimes play it offline when I cant be bothered with the spawnkillers,baserapers,highpingers and long loading times.
 
I also really need this responce, while i play mostly online i can't help it i sometimes want a relaxing game against ai, playing online makes me sweat :D , yet the damn artillery always only comes @ me....

If your going to play single player then you need some enhancements to make it more fun
You can get a mod that adds 64 player maps & also a mod that adds more bots up to as many as your PC can handle & increases their intelligence, the mod I had installed had artillery disabled &
the bots would fly in choppers & bale out over maps like Karkhand . I posted about this a while back. Using these mods means the bots give you a good run for your money & at times its hard to believe your not online.
 
add more bots, up to 500 LOL & increase their AI

At the initial spawning point there is just a mass of blue if you have hundreds
of bots, most I managed was about 250, remember its halved for each team.
The best map for this mod combined with COOP was Zatar wetlands where the bots took off from the Carrier in 4 choppers with 3 going to the first flag & the whole lot bailing out LOL, I tried several times to shoot across & take a screenie
& catch the lot in mid air but only ever managed about 8, also Karkhand has 3 transporter choppers which all take off together & if you board one you can bail out & land on a normally impossible rooftop with a sniper rifle :p

maybe they just dont like you :p

There are several different versions of all these mods, I just noticed that the bot changer now only has up to 250 bots, I still have an earlier version with 512 altho it was unrunable at this level
