i much prefer it to 2142, althought bizzarely i get better frames slightly on 2142 than on bf2.... still my bf2 frames at max arestill 100 pretty much constantly unless the **** hits the fan then it might dip to 80 i did have some probs with 2142 tho on my lappy, frames were fine outside but when ever i was inside a titan it would drop dramatically and become quite laggy 
no probs with my new pc tho 
its just the fact that to get the guns u dont have to get 3 other things before it or what ever 
Well yeah, some of them aren't too bad, but things like the combat knife... does a combat knife really need a designation? Or a cloaking unit? And they could've been more imaginative than just taking three letters from 'frag' and using them for the grenade's designation
You don't see it in any other BF game; they only reason they do it in BF2142 is because it's the future so they can make stuff up.
I heard of project reality, is that any good? is there a lot of people on the servers for the modified versions?
