BF2142 AA Problem

Ok

I play this game quite a lot, but sometimes after a map change, I seem to lose my AA setting of 4x and I it looks terrible, sometimes even goes down to 800x600 resoution. What could be causing this?

only prob am having now is that the game freezes for no reason it was working away fine until wedensday where i played it for 5mins it froze so i closed it and went back in samething and then last night got a whole round played then it froze at the end of the round ive just done a fresh install of vista + 2142 and its gone all to pot again dammed ea and there games

@ scooby that sounds like the issue i had after patch 1.25 came out, mine froze and ctd though, i never did find a solution to it. I have just upgraded to vista so i am hoping that would fix it, your tales of woe don't fill me with much confidence though.

it run fine for the first 2 weeks after my format the thing is ive been playing with my gfx overlock with rivatuner but i though that might have been the prob but it was running fine with the o/c now its gone **** up so maybe another uninstall and reinstall will sort it again lol going to be abit of a pain in the ass if u have to do this everytime the game goes wrong... also did the lastest vista performace hotfix as well maybe its it that is cuasing the probs going to try and uninstall and see will post back if its fixed it
