BF2142/EA login problem

BF2142 problem - update

Hi all,

Got BF2142 for xmas, just installed and tried to login in.

With BF2 i use my login name as MNuTz. I have tried to make a new account in that name but it says it already exists, however, if i try to retreive the password for the account it tells me the account doesnt exist. Im confused!

Can i use my BF2 login details? Are they registered to an account on the EA.com website?

ok, im having trouble with the 'optimizing shaders' wjhen trying to enter a level.

Its currently been going about 10 mins and seems to have stopped under the A in 'settings Are changed'. Second time ive tried loading a level only for it to stop here!
