BF2142 Problem

Hey, im running vista 64bit atm, and i just installed BF2142 and the northern strike add on, however, when i try to join any server, i get booted to desktop and vista tells me that BF2142 has stopped working. any help? Cheers
 
no im not running SLI, and yeah my game also crashes when i click on the audio tab, not sure if it is creative XFI drivers.

I have an Audigy 2 ZS, I think its combination of creatives drivers and nvdias drivers.

Im using an 8800GTX.

Frustrating as I really want to start using Vista a lot more :mad:.
 
running nod32 by any chance? two/three separate occasions nod32 took out my internet, kinda, it takes out 32bit browsers but other stuff still connects. but weirdly, for no reason if i open 32bit IE/firefox, it won't connect, when i close either as per usual it will give me the program stopped working instead of just closing. i didn't have an issue with bf2142 though, but i didn't try it when the two times nod32 pooped my computer. first time i went to a few days old restore.

i'm turning into a bit of a nod32 hater on these forums :( , but seemed to screw quite a bit of stuff up. if not nod32, try to disable av anyway, or, which nvidia drivers you using. also, deffo take out the creative card briefly, see if its that.
