BF2142 + Vista 64bit

I just can't seem to get BF2142 to work :(

I'm running version 1.25, latest drivers for everything, running it as admin, with full control rights on the BF folder, updated punkbuster and punkbstra service is running.

Now the game loads fine but everytime I enter a server i hear the radio chatter for about 2 seconds then I get "Connection Problem" and then I'm booted.

I can only assume it is a vista problem because I have every port opened and even my computer set to be in the DMZ.

Searching google returns lots of people with other problems, a few with the same as mine but no replies of fixes.

Any ideas/help?

It simply won't work. You're out of luck. EA does not like Vista 64, I've totally gone off them and their products now.
 
UAC is also disabled.

My problem doesn't seem to be typical though, the game seems to actually play fine just this stupid disconnect on online games.
