BF3 and MW3 freezing sound looping or playing on?

Ok need some advice here.
When ever i play BF3 or MW3 my screen will freeze (with image on)and the sound will loop or continue playing on, if I try to Ctr/alt/delete im still stuck on same frozen page.

Some times the game will load and it will be an instant freeze on map page. I have the latests drivers ATI 11.11a beta - all be it that I see there is now a 11.11b out.
Made sure i loaded any new drivers that were needed cleaned my pc out and filters.
Is it sound card related? my mother board came with a slot in sound card Supreme FXII.(SoundMAX)
You guys got any ideas? I get stuck on the same bit of map for days on end :confused:

PC specs below.
I wonder if the Asus sound card is nothing more than an expansion slot due to lack of room.

Beta drivers are crap. Don't bother with them unless you really need them!

That could be the problem!

Na i only put the beta drivers on because of the problems i was having. Anyway i clean sweeped all of the ATI drivers off my pc and reinstalled 11.11 cat. loaded up BF3..same map I have been stuck on...picture freeze and sound loop again. :mad:

it could be the sound card... sound cards do screw around with your system if they are no in the correct slot or they are having driver problems

I don't think my system is bottle necking my suspicions is the sound card i may have to buy myself a new one and see what happens. Unless anyone else has any ideas?
