Well I've always had my fair share of bugs with BF3 but this one seems to be very annoying. Since the release of back to karkand my game seems to be crashing more than ever.
Problem:
Game just randomly crashes sometimes says "Display driver stopped responding but has now recovered" Although most of the time it just crashes and show my desktop with the game still showing on the task bar. I then need to "CTRL+SHIFT+ESC" and end the process of BF3.exe
Specs:
Asus P6T motherboard
i7 920 @ 4GHz
9GB RAM @ 1600Mhz
5870 @ Crossfire but disabled as BF3 BlueScreens when using Crossfire.
Tried:
Disabled Crossfire which stopped the BSOD.
Set custom pagefile including removing the pagefile.
Underclocked GPU.
Set custom overclock so it would use higher MHZ when rendering 2D/Desktop.
Re-installed BF3.
Set all graphics to low/medium.
Any Ideas please feel free to contribute.
