So who is having them?

I've got crossfire 5850s and I am still getting stuttering issues when trying the run with textures on Ultra and AA on.

I think it because of a lack of VRAM but there are reports of others having stuttering issues on 2 GB cards so hoping it gets sorted.

Anyone found a solution to his or should I just bin my cards and buy something with more VRAM on?

To be honest I don't think you will be able to play on Ultra.

Try all on high + 2X AA

Also try setting tesselation to 2x in the CCC (instead of AMD optimised.)

I'm getting the same issue. I noticed that vram is hitting 1900MB on ultra or high textures and I'm only gaming at 1680x1050.

Edit.

Just disabled crossfire and vram now stays at 908MB with the exact same settings. How weird is that? It also runs silky smooth now.

I have it at these settings and get 55fps on Caspian Border. Never thought to try adjusting tessellation in CCC, will try that tonight. I want to play at 60fps minimum online.

apparently there is an issue with Cloud saves atm, which will cause you stuttering.

so:
DO NOT USE CLOUD SAVES ON PC
To disable: There should be a cloud over the BF3 icon. Click it and disable it there.

I haven't got BF3 at the moment but i've just done some Vram testing on BC2.

I have the game maxed out + 8X AA @ 1080p and according to GPU-Z I am exceeding my graphics cards 1GB limit @ 2197 MB so divide that by 2 and it's a shade under 1100MB.

Considering it's exceeding my VRAM limit I am not stuttering at all.

Edit,

I'm running tri-fire so divide by 3? CONFUSED!

So in cross fire, it's just counting the duplication of cards? I wonder if someone with tri-fire could confirm that? (Which means it uses less ram than we think)

OP: Try removing you desktop background and aero if you are running it, to cut down your vram usage?
