Very helpful - just been asking this question in another thread, looks like I'll be buying another 560 GTX then

Yes they are beasts in SLI, every game I've thrown at them they just eat up without any issues, best buy I've made in a long time, I got the first one dirt cheap so decided to get the second one and didn't look back.

And they are 1GB VRAM for the VRAM heads ;)

I just missed one on the members market by a few minutes - grrrrr.

You play Skyrim or Shogun 2 also? I play mostly BF3 and those, so wanted to gauge an idea of performance at 1920 x 1080 with all the settings maxed out pretty much.

I've just reponded in your other thread I didn't realise it was you until I came back into this one lol

Skyrim I play not tried Shogun 2, but I can max every game and frame rates don't drop below 60 fps.

I might try Shogun 2 and benchmark it.

Still not got access MM yet I think i got another 30 days, gutted. how much did it go for?

I've got the MSI Twin Frozr editions, really cool and quiet.

Just saw your post - ta! :D

Shogun 2 is pretty demanding, be interested to see how it runs if you do benchmark.

It went for £140 , I was going to pay £150 for it but was too late. I have the MSI twin Frozr edition too, so aiming to get a second for a cool set up with my rather small case space.

60 sec tests are useless if not done in a controlled environment.

best easiest way of doing it i can think of unless you get a built in demo or benchmark

also you can see peoples settings with similar cards which may help others play the game a bit better or with better settings

Did bfbc2 not have a built in bench on the single player campaign, (i never played more than the intro). But on a lot of reviews i see the mention of a part called chase iirc.

But you'll get a mix of different results on the same config in various parts of the map which makes the random 60 seconds benchmarks pointless.

to be honest on same map metro outside you wont get much different fps i have tried it ;) thats why i said to use this particular map.

if its a couple of fps out over many results you can gauge roughly still what will be decent and what is not.

im hoping they allow some of the things people have made themselves which lessens the performance hit of say msaa which is the biggest fps killer in bf3.

im not trying them yet though incase it causes a ban :p

a lot seem to be trying them maybe ea will patch or try something similar themselves.
