I shall only be getting BF3. I have nothing(well almost) against COD, i greatly enjoyed MW2, but i find that i can't justify both as i ended up getting BLOPS only to find that i was getting the same experience as MW2(though slightly inferior if anything) for another £35 tbh. It is not impossible that i would get MW3 though, as someone said earlier i would have to see some very good genuine reviews to get it.
Another thing that might factor in to it is which of the two my mates choose. I play regularly online with 2 of my mates and I would rather they both got BF3, but they don't have great gaming PC's in general so it might not happen.

Also there are a lot of great games coming out in the next few months and can't get them all!
 
BF3 for me. It will be my only Origin game for a long time (probably a year till MoH2, or BF3.5 to be more precise, LOL EA) but hopefully worth it.

I am going to get a post it note and wrte the number 3 on it and then stick it over the 2 of MW2 whenever it appears on my screen. Its like having MW3 but I dont have to pay!!
 
MW3 for me,

I know BF3 will look sound and run vastly superior but I just prefer the arcade action that the cod series has become.

It would have been both if Batman AC was not also due in October. Batman AC will keep me going until MW3, which will keep me going until Star Wars those combined will keep me going until 'The Secret World' MMO.
 
I think i have bought every Call of Duty game since the very first many years ago (some i bought for console). Last year i bought Bad company 2 and had problems with connecting to servers on multiplayer so i thought i can't be bothered waiting for fixes/patches and started playing other games. I have since re-installed windows 7 and thought i should try BC2 again and have been enjoying it very much (apart from not having a clue what to do and having rubbish weapons at only private level). So, with modern warfare just re-hashing the same game every year, i am gonna put my multiplayer time into BF3 and leave modern warfare as it has been done to death now.

BF3, but that's only because I've owned every COD on the PC since the first one, and the last few have been the same game... (COD4 was the best, WaW brought the WW2 back to the new COD4 engine, but since then it's been the same tired old ****).

Those that like COD though should just enjoy themselves, my personal opinion is that COD has stagnated, which doesn't mean I would flame anyone who decides they still like it unlike some of the sad lot on here who do like flaming these people.

COD should really update their engine now though. (I may buy MW3 in the future in a deal for the Single Player, if the deal ever happens...)
 
Only BF3 for me. I've lost interest in COD. The last few relases have essentially been the same for me.

I prefer the BF series anyway. I have more interest in the vehicles and the teamwork aspects.
 
BF3

They are comparable to those declaring they are not. They are both multiply fps games trading on the war Market.

The only reason they are not comparable is because BF3 is light years ahead of MW3 in every aspect which makes a game good. Not saying to be inflamatory but I see MW as the kids fps, it's pretty simplistic, no teamwork required at arcade-esque shoot em up. BF3 aims to a much higher standard.
 
I've pre ordered BF3 for my PC, I hope...

a: It lives up to the hype.

b: Stays true to the BF1942 / BF2 Walk about gameplay (Which I doubt)

c: Is not BFBC2 rehashed.

d: runs on my system well. :o
 
Both

I like both games, yet I'll be getting MW3 for the 360 as that's all my friends play, PC of BF3.
