Yeah but I got the right order aswell :cool:

I kinda wish Pancake was added to the poll even though I hate it because it just makes polls null and void but I think it would complement this one nicely :)
 
I think ill probably get both to be honest. Gonna buy BF3 outright but will end up "acquiring" MW3 for the single player then if the multiplayer takes off ill buy it. (like i did with CoD4)
 
CoD 'bashing' only exists because the once much-loved series has let down a lot of its fanbase and clearly Activision doesn't give a flying **** about us.


It won't happen, but I really, really hope MW3 bombs (or at the very least people stop pre-ordering it mindlessley). That way, MW4 might actually be a decent game. Sadly, people lack foresight.
 
Already pre-ordered both, Battlefield 3 is the one I'm looking forward to more but so many people I know are getting MW3 that I'll have to pick it up as well.

They are very different games, I stand by BF3 being the better game overall and I hope it'll be something I'm playing in 2-3 years time but if I just want a quick frag fest for a few minutes when I'm bored, MW3 requires a lot less coordination and is far easier to play solo.
 
Don't really know how people make these decisions without reviews.

I never pre order games. I honestly think MW3 and BF3 will both be let-downs. Don't see the point in over-hyping future FPS games on PC.
 
Battlefield 3 for me.
The reason that almost everyone is saying BF3 and not MW3 is because this is a PC game forum, only one of them is a true PC game.

Because reviews are not your own opinion. I've played many a game with a 4/10 and loved it, and many with a 10/10 and thought it was complete trash.

Reviews are useful if they highlight possible good or bad points you already expected, which can confirm your choice but i've never ordered a single thing in my life purely based on a review.


Also, pre-ordering is very worthwhile on Amazon for instance. I pre-order games i may not even buy because you often get them cheaper!
I got Dead Island for £32. even though it was £38 on release day and is actually even more expensive now!




I voted BF3.
I'm getting it for 360 because about 5 or 6 friends are.
If my friends did not play it, I would not play it. I don't dislike FPS games, but at the same timee i have no interest in multiplayer with random people so i don't play them by myself.

Due to there being a good group of us, BF3 is by far the best choice due to it's emphasis on teamwork.

MW3 really doesn't seem to offer anything worthwhile, and the last COD i played properly was MW1. But if i fancied an FPS, and did not have a group of friends to play with i'd probably go for MW3 because it's easy to control a game with 1 player, and impossible to on BF3.

I've played both, MW3 for SP and BF:3 for MP, although BF:3 SP isn't bad, i just don't think it's as good as MW3's.
