make sure windows firewall isnt blocking it? same for origin?

You using virtual network adapters for various reasons such as VMWare?

nope... might try uninstall origin and try again.. using vista 32 if thats any use...

Right click on "My computer" - select "manage"
Double click "Services and Applications"
Double click "Services"
Then look for "Network Location Awareness" double click.
In "general" tab, next to startup type select "Automatic (delayed start)".

Save all changes and reboot. try Origin again

Was posted on the EA forum worth trying to see if it helps

Can aways change it back to the default setting if dont work
