BF4 Issues ONLY survey

i5 3570k @ 4.4
GB WF3 7950 @ 1100/1250 13.10
8GB
Win 7 64

Runs fine but was just playing with setting and turned msaa off, promptly crashed grey and white bars across screen, hard reset

Edit to say just been in a 64 server and it was running fine (had to reinstall gpu drivers after crash) about 10 minutes in it dropped to a slide show, turned everything to low no difference, was all at ultra with no msaa

1440p everything on ultra

99% of the time it plays fine ~150fps, every 20mins ill get a lag spike down to 4-5fps for 3 seconds ish then it goes back to normal.

I just deleted the game - it runs at 3ps ALL THE TIME now. No other game is bad. I was just playing Skyrim with everything maxed out for 6 hours and not even a tiny bit of slowdown the whole time. The game is bugged, they better fix it or it will be a disaster.

It does seem wierd that those of us who run the best hardware have the worst problems. Tons of people running it fine on a 560ti etc yet tons of complaints from people like myself on 680's or higher.

EDIT

Did i mention 13.11 Drivers?

i7 2600k @ 4.5GHz
GTX680 @ 1250MHz Core
8GB (4x2GB) XMS3 DDR3 RAM
Windows 8 64Bit
nVidia 327.23 Drivers
Vertex 3 SSD but also ran from RAID-0 4TB array (~320MB/Sec performance)

Plays perfectly smooth with good FPS and no stuttering.

Many Crashes to Desktop or all out system freezes however.

Would be interesting to see peoples Disk Drive arrangements also, perhaps those with high end gear are getting disk thrashing.

What settings are you using Sin?

All High, 2x MSAA, Medium Post Processing, HBAO.

I can run Ultra fine, but felt it was far too close to the 2GB VRAM envelope and I was getting more frequent crashing. Went down to high to eliminate that as an issue but still get crashes.

Just runs crap. Average of around 37 fps everything on low or off. Even changing res didn't make a difference. Still have a few more test runs to do after the latest patch but initial run through's are still very poor.

Much much worse than BF3.

New update today has resolved the FPS stuttering and general bad performance a lot for me. I'm also using a 6950 =XDC=FluphyBunny and I'm now able to use 'High' setting but have to turn SSAO to HBAO; getting between 40-50fps on average at 1080p. The major difference compared to your system, is that I'm using an i5 3570k @ 4.4ghz. Could be the problem?

i7 920 @ 4Ghz
16GB Ram - no page file
2 x 670 SLI - latest beta driver
Windows 7
2560x1440 - Ultra with 2x SMAA - post AA off

Single card - runs at 30-45fps and runs perfectly
SLI - runs at 60fps or there abouts but stutters quite often. FPS doesn't drop, but you notice stutter

bit of fps drops but nothing major(upto 90fps seen but drops to around 45 in a fire fight), at times seems a bit laggy (Though that might have something to do with the "Network Smoothing" , it never worked right in bf3..seems like they are following a trend). I've had issues with the servers dropping me, with the exe not working and 1 BSOD on day one however all these issues are now *Fingers crossed* gone.

Doesn't matter, totally bored of the same map!

OS: Win 7 ultimate 64bit

1920x1080 full ultra minus msaa on 0, 90FOV motion blur off. vsync off.

45-50 average fps, mins down around 28-30.

OS win 8

tried all game modes and 32/64 players game. everything is ultra and highest at 1920x1080. no eye-detectable frame drop even the most confusing scenes. havent looked at frame rate counter, but my guess it's above 60fps at all time. i got no problem with graphics, more to do with bug inside game:D

im more concern about the origin window running on the back that crashes bf4 from time to time (happened about 3-4 times). also direct x crashes (may be linked to origin window) a few times as well.

another bug is tank GUI get confused sometimes and not display the correct crosshair. e.g. switch between main canon and guided missile. some times it wont let me switch weapon.

the m9X (99? 98? 95?) sniper rifle on each stage is dropped automatically when switch to pistol.

Use the new drivers XE11. 13.11 Beta 1.

Also those DX crashes you mention typically point towards a too small page file and running out of virtual memory. Or the most likely cause, too little vcore on one or both of your gpu's.

Performance was very laggy and stuttery until second patch. Now this has evened things out, but in general, FPS hovers around the 50 FPS mark with only "High" settings. This is pretty damn unacceptable given the general experiences and benches posted by others and if it does not improve in the final release (BF3 play smooth as butter on my system) then I will not bother with the game and look to Titanfall as my next main FPS.

If come final release it still doesn't play nice would you consider a couple of 7950's? You could sell your 680's and buy a couple of 7950's with the money. You'll probably gain money, fps and smoothness by making the switch. Something to consider maybe if it doesn't work out.

RAM: 6GB DDR2
GPU: 7950 OC BE (@ 1000/5200)
OS: Win7 64bit
Resolution: 1440x900

Fairly consistent FPS regardless of settings, everything on low means less low drops (feels smoother).

Overclock on GFX card only made a few FPS difference.

Overclock on CPU made a big FPS difference (knew it was my bottleneck already), i7 2700K is in the pipeline.

Ran from MHDD and got easily 5-10 FPS difference switching to SSD.

Occasional bugs when loading ('stuck' on loading screen with top/bottom showing game), running Repair in Origin seems to fix for a few days.

Only a couple of Q2D, 1 directx error. Find it as stable as BF3 really.

This is a viable course of action, but galling considering how much I spent on the 680s. In light of that, I am better off recouping my investment in the game itself, and putting that money to better use i.e. Titanfall.
