BF4 massive stutter issues.

Ive just installed this on my system . Im using windows 8.1 with an r9 280, 8gb ram and fx8320
I played it fine first of all for 20 mins. But now i see huge stutters causing my PC to slow down to unexplainable levels. Checked task manager and shows like 95+ memory/hdd usage.
I do ingame fps tests now and again and fps is fine.
My system is only a few weeks old and is fine with everything else.
Also MSI afterburner doesnt seem to work with BF4 causing it to be unloadable.
Any fixes?

Nevermind. Apparently a memory leak in mantle (which is what i was using) is causing this as confirmed by amdmatt in another post ive seen.

What resolution do you play at? Thought the memory leak was only at 4K. I'm on 14.4 though and dont experience it with mantle enabled.
