BF4 product code

Just received this from an AMD rep......

"I just got confirmation that this issue has been resolved and all affected customers have been sent their Battlefield 4 keys."
 
had similar comments form AMD support before, was actually sent 2 sets of already used codes >.<

After the huge kerfuffle they had last time I thought they would do away with this whole redemption ******** and just bundle actual game codes from the game makers.

That would cost them an absolute fortune. Im fairly sure theyd only have to subsidise the keys that get claimed. If an actual key was in every box then theyd have to pay for every last one, redeemed or not....
 
I would just buy the game and sell the key at a loss when it arrives. This is pretty poor of amd.

iirc this is the way it used to be, I remember just taking the code from the card and redeeming it none of this redeem one code to wait for another set to be delivered to actually redeem for the game.

It wouldn't be so bad if they could actually get their system to work and have the keys with people in a reasonable time frame, the exact same thing happened with both the never settle and never settle reloaded bundles they were doing too.
 
Pretty poor show, seeing as AMD and EA/DICE are working so closely on BF4 you would have hoped they had a rock solid launch programme for BF4 bundled 2xx series cards.

As for not including valid keys in the box, why not? AMD should have had special BF4 product keys that are valid to activate and give the game. Then EA only 'charges' AMD for the ones which are redeemed online. Any which sit in a box un-used are not charged for.

None of this wait a few weeks while we sort you out a code malarky.
 
Sorry to bump this old thread but I just having the same issue with product key unavailable.

I thought this was a launch day issue?? Its been 8 weeks and still they can't sort out the product keys?

How did you guys fix it? How long do I have to wait now?
 
Going to bump this again. Got this reply from AMD support? Has anyone redeemed a key sucessfully lately or is this just affecting me?

Unfortunately there is a delay in the delivery of the game key. There is no estimated time of delivery, but you will be email the game key automatically once they become available.

I bought a 270 for my son from OC and hes having the same problem mate...most annoying part is he chose the 270 over the 270x just because of bf4 and hes gutted as he was really wanting to play it but AMD said they will get back to him and there is no date they can offer.:(
 
wow that's uber **** of them :\ when I've had game codes before they've just been like scratch cards with the codes on, but I guess they couldn't do that at the time due to the game not being released.

but that is just ridiculous that you've had to wait for so damn long!!! I would just start ****ing at them saying this is completely un acceptable and that the whole reason you bought their damn card was for that offer! something you could take them to trading standards over ;) ? :p hahaha
 
Exactly the same for me, chose that paticular card as came with free bf4 game. Had the same email as mist except they told me they was unavailable now and did not know if and when would be available again not that they would email me. Will have to get back to them now.
