Do BFG have any support available in the UK or do I have to mail the support team in the US?

My 8800 GTX OC appears to be dieing so I'd like to contact them about it

Cheers

Az

Cheers for that.

I've put in a support request via the form on their website but have not received the usual "thanks for contacting us" mail. I'll leave it there for now and see if I get a reply as I'd like to avoid having to call the US

When I used them recently, my initial request went to the US I believe, but this was then redirected to European support and everything was handled within the UK. Just had to wait initially as they were all asleep and not in work in the US before the request got picked up to be redirected.

Finally got the replacement card back today and it was well worth the wait!

Sent my 8800 GTX OC back to BFG and they sent me back GTX 285 OC2. Needless to say I'm very happy with the card and the service I received!

Well, it's not all good news... Plugged card in but get no output. I have a feeling its my PSU as I think it only just managed on the old card so I've ordered a new PSU which will arrive tomorrow.

One more night gaming on the laptop wont hurt too much!

I have had the exact same exchange, my GTX285 is DOA though, tried a different PCI-e and PSU and PC, no good though.

Hmm I really hope its not that! I don't have another PC or PSU to try it with but I've felt for a while I was pushing what my current PSU can do.

Ordered the new PSU from OCUK and its allready shipped so should be here tomorrow and I'll find out

Edit: I know the card isn't toally dead as some green LEDs ligh up on the card when I turn it on, hopefully the PSU will fix it

Guess I spoke too soon :(

New power supply fitted after much messing around and still no display. Taken a closer look and noticd that although there are green LEDs lit on the gfx card the fan isnt spinning at all. I'm guessing this is also dead? Time to get back in touch with BFG

thats funny..i sent my gpu(280gtx) in for rma on monday 26th oct,i phoned bfg in wales and the guy told me on the phone that they are completely out of stock of gpus...only gpus they have is 295s so he said that i have requested that you get your replacement sent to you from the USA,i emailed the USa and they emailed me back saying they are in the process of sending me a new gpu.....funny how you got your gpu, when i was told they didnt have any....the guy at bfg wales also told me that there is a backlog of atleast 50 gpus that they need to replace...so im not the only one

Not sure if its just the order they arrived or somthing... my RMA was arranged about 2 weeks ago, just took a while to get it turned around. BFG have allready offered another RMA so will see what happens
