They've agreed to do a courier collection for my card but they are asking me to put it in another machine to try.

I don't really have another machine available. I've managed to try a mates 8800GTS in my machine and it boots fine and the display is OK etc with that in but he doesn't want me to try it in his machine as he's concerned his power supply isnt up to the task.

I'm pretty certain the card is dead as the fan doesnt even spin at all which would seem to be a fairly major issue. I really just want to get this resolved now as I've been without my main PC since 16th October now!
 
I e-mailed BGF wales and got no response about my DOA. Yesterday I raised a new ticket online, they e-mailed me for SN's, have sent back, now waiting for a RMA number.

They did cover postage last time but not so sure they will this time because I'm not going via Jeff. IMO they should send card out while they pick mine up but I bet that aint going to happen, I just want this over now. Been going on since August now. Next card will be my 3rd replacement, be nice to get it resolved sooner rather than later.
 
Just spoke to the wales depo and they have no 280's in so they are sending me a GTX 285 OCFU he asked if I was running SLI I said yes and he said well if you send the other 280 to me and remind me who you are i will swap it for another 285. now that is good service. I will defo be using BFG again.
