My 8800GTX has snuffed it so I'm trying to get on to BFG about it... by email of course, no calls to the US thanks!!

Anyone got any experience of what their tech support is like with regards to RMAs?

Sames here - 8800GTX OC sent off and shiny replacement received back a few days later......including a whole pile of W/C barbs et al., for some reason ?! :p Still, great service and a real strong ncentive to buy BFG again :D

Hi there

BFG are our best selling cards for a reason! Not just because the price is always competitive and even sometimes the best but they come overclocked out of the box and the service they provide is simply unbeatable. :)

For instance check out our price on the 8800 GT 512MB from BFG, the best in the UK! :D

heh thanks guys, good to know.

Sent a support request off on Friday around 5 wishfully thinking I might get a same-day response, but that would have been exceptional.... Monday it is!!

I called them up Sunday before last, got an answer and the whole thing sorted within 10 minutes over the phone. Sent the card off the next day.

I haven't had a replacement yet, so hoping it turns up today/this week.

Sorry to hijack your thread Flareon,
But does anyone know if you need a receiptwhen returning graphic cards back?
Becuase i bought a BFG 8800gt oc 512mb in january..And guess what,It says the wrong item on the receipt.. It should have said 8800gt OC but it says 8800gt OC2..But the barcode on the box is the same on the receipt..
4 months has gone so i cant really take it back.
Any ideas?
Thank you

No, all they ask for is the serial number on your actual card. No proof of purchase is needed.

Plus when you come to have to return it I doubt either will be about so you should get a better card.

I cant wait for my 320 to die lol

Same experience here, RMA'd my 8800gtx on monday and got my replacement on the friday.

i got the same sevice , once you get the rma number out of the guy in USA, i remember there was a few emails back and forth with him asking me to try re installing drivers ect , once i told him it was fine with a different card then he sent the number and it took just 5 days turn around , good reason for buying bfg

Sorry to jump into the good feedback with this but reading this thread I must just be unlucky, my 8800GTX packed up, filled in the support web form. Waited 2 days for an email telling me it'd have to be RMA'd and asking for more details (including the information on the web form :s) Replied same day, 2 days later got a new email asking for serial number (turns out its not the label marked S/N), replied same day, that was 10 days ago - left it a week before prodding them - now getting no response to my emails :(

Better add BFG to my ****list :/
