*** Big Fat Weight Loss Thread ***

Also on my comments of protein targets. Seems i've been recording wrong anyway! I have a few different packets and was always amazed that one of them was "1 scoop" and another was "2 scoops", when the 1 scoop was a higher protein content and a similar sized scoop.

I've just opened a new bag of the 1 scoop one and the included scoop is huge. I've obviously been using a different scoop for ages and taking a half portion. No wonder it's tasted a bit watery!

These companies need to agree on a standard portion/scoop size per serving!

This is why I work on weight and not scoop size/portions per bag/however else they try and spin it.
It's like when you grab a packet of something and the quick easy to read breakdown on the front says "150kcals" while squashing in in tiny font below it "per serving, bag contains 5 servings" which I don't notice until I've thoroughly enjoyed the whole bag

Yeah, i'm lazy though and can't be bothered getting the scales out. I figure that within 5% a scoop is a scoop and some might be a bit more and others a bit less. However using the wrong scoop definitely doesn't work!

Tbh, the first thing I do with a tub/packet with a scoop... is throw the scoop away. I have too many already. As @tom_e I make a levelled scoop (of one of my usual scoops of a similar size) and weigh it. Once you know that, you're kinda good to go.

I don't really measure it, I put roughly half a scoop into my morning coffee but depending on the powder, some I put more, some I put less. I just put enough to taste as some are more sweet than others.

Id highly recommend if you are thinking about it, I was on wegovy jabs for about 6 months, worked a treat and absolutely no side effects what so ever.

The only negative is the cost, they are not cheap.
I've heard the price goes up as you need higher and higher strength doses, is that right?

Well......

You might not "need" higher doses. They are eager to push that mentality on you (as they make more money) but you are in control.

When I was on it for the 6 months or so, I found little difference going up or down doses, so maybe see how you go?
