big internet dissconecting issue still.. HELP!

okay iv noticed when i get dissconected (the light goes orange on my netgear router)

my phoneline when i pick up the phone is cracling really bad and theres a lot of interference.

any ideas what on earth is happening please?

i am on the edge of throwing my pc and the router, Out Of my Window.

Sun, 2007-06-03 05:19:17 - LCP is allowed to come up.
Sun, 2007-06-03 05:19:17 - CHAP authentication success
Sun, 2007-06-03 05:19:25 - Loss of synchronization :1
Sun, 2007-06-03 05:20:07 - LCP down.
Sun, 2007-06-03 05:20:09 - Initialize LCP.

any one have any idea what any of that means?

Report the crackling and hope it improves your connection.
Beyond that, the generic: check your filters and wiring, try connecting to the master socket without extensions or filters, post attenuation/SNR margin/sync rate.

No idea what half of that means im no network genius sorry :P

but iv changed my DSL filter, will see if it manages to fix anything :)
 
I have had this over the past couple of weeks and my modem keeps disconnecting every 12 minutes. I have reported the problem six times only to find my connection is now capped at 2mb from 6mb. :eek:

Reported it again and now my noise margins have doubled. hopeing BT will take the fault seriously now.
