Glad to hear it's sorted. I'm guessing when you plugged that cable in wrong, it shorted out the motherboard and CPU.

So do you recon that wrong wire from the PSU to the GPU fried your CPU?

Or just a coincidence?

ps: I only found out myself a few months ago different manufacturers modular leads do not follow a set standard! Eeek!
