Big praise for Norton IS 2008!

You'd want Norton or some such on a family machine but for the bulk of people types that browse here ? no way.

I can wholeheartly agree with this. My point was that the previous versions of Norton security were terrible and I would tell anyone to remove them as soon as I see them but this is not the case with 2008.

Why did I praise? Because I see a company that acknowledges their past errors and makes changes for the better.
