I have a DFI Lanparty 250g NF3 UT motherboard, a Netgear DG834G router connected to a wireless Netgear WG311v2 pci card and am having a mare.

At first I thought it might be my soundcard but it seems its not. The problem is in games it will freeze as if its a stuck CD, and give me some almighty stutters, and now I have narrowed it down to the network, becuase if I disable the network I dont experience any stutters at all.

You can even hear a sort of noise through the pc's speakers as soon as I re enable the network. I dont know how I could fix this problem, could anyone suggest something I could try?

But I was hoping I could get this one working, as I only have 1. It must be somethiong simple, Im sure, at the mo Im scouring google for solutions.

I suppose I could connect the router to the onboard lan on the motherboard? and ditch the pci card.

Well at least I have narrowed the problem down to the Netgear WG311v2 card, theres a few people out there with the same problems.
