Big problem

I just tried to clone my main hard drive on to a brand new clean drive using acronis but now neither drive is bootable, the new cloned drive just posts, goes past bios screen then restarts and my original hard drive gets to windows then BSOD's

Any ideas?

Only things I can think of is check the boot order in the BIOS to ensure it's booting from your new hard drive and double check all cables are secure.

If not you might need to redo the image, double checking you select all partitions from the old original drive and you tick the box this is going to be a bootable drive (the new drive)

Still got the windows CD ? Try booting from and and running the automated recovery tool thingy, should help fix problems like this without dataloss

I've ended up reinstalling windoes on another new HD in the hope that I can recover my data from the other drives by just accesing them as a secondary ...
time will tell ...
