Would like to say realy big thanks to Jeff from BFG for helping get my 8800GT RMA sorted out before i ship all my kit to spain. Also thanks for the nice new 9800GT OC 1Gig that was a nice suprise.

The short version of it is handling escalated customer issues. I'm basically the last stop when there is an escalated issue as I sort of oversee the technical support staff. I am also trying to take care of as many forums as I can get to in a day. On top of that I run the online store and the trade up program. All of those orders get processed by me on a daily basis (at least I try to get to them daily).

Most importantly I am the primary source of contact for our Phobos customers at this time. So I handle tech support issues and correspond with the install technician when we install a Phobos unit. There are other things like handling RMA's for customers, setting RMA stock levels, finding products for customer RMA's for our 3 warehouses (US, CA and the UK), things like that.

Needless to say, it keeps me pretty busy :) Not that I mind that at all though.

But, at the end of the day (it's currently 11 PM here in the states) I try to help the community as much as possible.

Got to say reading about everyone's experience with BFG, I'm almost definitely going for one of their cards next time round.

Rare to find such good customer support these days. Good work! :D

smee - did you need help getting that sorted out? If so let me know and I'll do my best to get the situation sorted.

Code:
RMA Tracking

BFG RMA Status

Stage 1: Your full RMA number is 992540722
Stage 2: Your RMA was received in the BFG Warehouse on 2009-07-01 08:50:38.
Stage 3: Your RMA has not yet shipped from the BFG Warehouse.

What to Expect:
You provided a valid RMA number, and we have received your RMA, but our records do not yet indicate that it has been shipped from the BFG warehouse.

If the tracking information from your carrier indicates that we have received the package within the last 2-3 business days, it is possible that this page has not been updated to reflect shipment as of yet.

If the tracking information from your carrier indicates that we have received your package 4 or more business days ago, please contact BFG Support so that we can verify your information.

Well at 4 business days past so just emailed tech support again. Starting to go nutty with no computer. Missus is thinking of divorcing me :) if you can bumb start them would be good cheers

I have a bfg 9600 GT but before i had the 8800 and that just droped dead on me so i can say that bfg are the cards i will stick with.

smee - I'm looking into this right now. Not sure what caused the delay but I'll try to get your card out as soon as possible.

Jeff - Sorry to jump in. I have a question. My inlaws have a 8800gts and are computer shy to the extreme. They never registered it with BFG, can i register it for them on my account so i have them together with my own card if i get the invoice or do they have to have their own account.

The card is ok but if it ever does go wrong then it will come to me to fit anyway. So i would prefer to keep it all in one account if possible.

Also if they cant find the invoice can you search by make or model? I am not sure if it will get the 2 year or 10 year garentee though as they purchased it around Jan 08. I am going around their house on Friday/Sat to get the card details.

Thanks

You can register it if you want, but you do not have to. We didn't start requiring registration until the 9 series cards, so technically that card doesn't have to be registered to get it replaced under warranty. If you need a replacement, let me know and I can set it up for you.

Thank you. Thats great news. Truely a great rep for the company ;)

Could I send the serial and number to you anyway, just feel better with it on my account?
