Big Thanks to Jeff from BFG for his help

That product has to ship from the US due to stock levels in the UK, but it is going out today and should be there in 2 days. Hopefully you will have it by the weekend, if FedEx does what they should.

Yeah, I found out that they were having some trouble getting international RMAs processed so I stepped in and took care of this one. I got a bunch of others out too, the rest will go Monday at the latest.

Have recieve gtx260 maxcore this morning many thanks for your help jeff. look forward to testing it out.

Know that when comes to upgrade BFG very much at the top of my list of companies to buy from. :)

Meh, my 9600GT OC is broken :(

I cant afford to RMA it though as I only just got this card rma'ed >_>

Just my luck :( Was hoping to use this for a physx card (just purchased a GTX 285 OC2).

jeff > * customer service tbh.
Helped me out, nice and quickly too.

One thing thats just occured to me, do i need to register the replacement card? If so, how can i since i wont have any purchase information for it now?

Hopefully I can get my RMA issue resolved, my BFG 280GTX OC died and is currently with BFG. :( Disappointed that it died in the first place, had an ASUS 8800GTX which was absolutely rock solid for 2 years, my BFG card died with 9 months.

My BFG 8800GTX OC hasn't missed a beet since I installed it Feb 07.........

........But I have a bigger job for Jeff - Any chance you can get some GTX 275 + 285's into Overclockers Pronto? need to upgrade mate!!!

Jeff what is BFG's standing with overclocking / modding?

For example:

If I overclock my card (software) is it still under warranty?
If I flash the BIOS is it still under warranty (with/without a BIOS with an overclock)
If I add a custom watercooling block to it is it still under warranty?

Thanks :)

I'd say

yes
no
no

What I thought, however .. @ jeff (if he reads this), what if you put an aftermarket cooler / waterblock on the card, and if you want to RMA it, replace it with the stock cooler EXACTLY the way you found it? Still void? I mean if you did it well enough the tech support teams wouldn't be able to notice the difference anyway would they? but just thought I'd see if it was 'aloud' .

it isnt "allowed" under there warrenty T&C, but it is under Zotac's.

If you can put it back in such a way that no-one will ever notice, then it'll sitll work i guess.

Its the only reason I didnt go with BFG for my 295's
