Biggest bottleneck?

Hey guys,

I'm due an upgrade but can't afford to do the whole lot at the moment, however.

I've got hold of an Asus Rog Strix 1070ti

Current spec:

i7 3770k @ 4.8
8gb Ram
GTX670

Will the CPU and or RAM gimp the 1070 too much, if you know what I mean?
I'm thinking I may need to up the ram a little too maybe?

Your CPU and RAM won't bottleneck it.
What's your resolution and refresh rate btw?

You'll get loads more out of it, my 2500k at 4.4 was fine with 670sli, 780ti, and my 1070. A few modern games like bf1 are apparently too much for the i5, but with hyperthreading you should be fine

Edit: although yes i would go up to 16gb of the fastest ram you can run

Res will be 1080p @ 120hz until I can get a new monitor.

Yeah i figured 16 would probably be my next purchase, cheers mate.

No probs. CPU and 1070 is plenty powerful for that resolution.
