Biggest house spider I have seen

This one was quite big, Its currently guarding my tomato plants.
 
the worst thing about spiders is you only have one chance to catch them. If you are bad at catching then it is best to just not look and to live in ignorance

I had much the same, but I treated myself by necessity. When I was a student, I shared a house with a person who had really severe arachnophobia. They're go pale at the sight of a money spider. Since I wasn't as bad, it fell to me to deal with them. After a while, I became more used to them.

Spiders aren't actually all that fast. The giant house spiders we get in Britain are the fastest spiders in the world (camel spiders and sun spiders aren't spiders) but they're only capable of just over 1mph. It just seems a lot more because they're small.
 
He was pretty easy to catch, just straight in the jar.

The beetle was eaten, as was the fly and daddy long legs yesterday. Basically any insect that comes into my flat will now meet the same ending lol.
