Must say guys just watched BBC'z Total Wipout and i must say it is the worst programme from the BBC i have EVER viewed. What a way to spend our cash.

Watched 15mins then had to put it off!

Thoughts?

probably one of the cheapest programs bbc show. all it costs them is whatever hammond gets paid. they should get rid of him anyway if you ask me
 
It's not a BBC production. Wipeout is an Endemol franchise (see Big Brother) that's taped in America. Most international versions tape at the same location and fly the contestants out.

it's no worse than Gladiators etc and makes for OK Saturday night TV.

its shot in argentina and BBC dont fly anyone there. you have to make your own way there and even get your own insurance (most contestants are already there on holiday)

nothing to do with endemol either as far as i can tell ? will cost nothing compared to the traditional saturday tv

will never be as entertaining as takeshis castle though. mainly because of the total lack of safety laws that exsisted way back when that thing was made !

Yeh, its always more fun when there is a chance of death! Running full pelt into a solid wall for example, you just can't make that **** up :p

many countries use the same set for 'im a celeb get me out of here', doesnt mean it isnt in Oz!!

i think about 20 countrys film there. and i remember them advertising for contestants last years saying you needed to make your way there.

turns out it was endemols idea but not sure they still do any of the production.
