Bikers Youtube thread

More power, wheel off the ground, no wobble.

Until it comes back down :p

Had another speed wobble on my cbr the other day on the way to work. I then brought a steering damper that day. Gotta wait 7 - 10 days for it however :(

It was when you put the power down and the front went light

Are you gonna invest in a steering damper?

Probably not, I haven't had a proper look, but from a brief look it doesn't look like anyone makes them for my bike and people that do have them have either kind of bodged it on or know what they're doing and adjusted it to fit. I would consider one if it was a proper fit (and looked cool :p)

That's the first time it's properly wobbled anyway, normally it's fine. Think it was just a combination of the front going light, draught from the other bike, the road and touching on the rev limiter just unsettled things.

Squeaky bum time when it gets wobbling I bet. I've had my front wheel go light but not wobble yet!

If anyone ever skateboarded, speedwobble on that is game over. Once you have it its a matter of when and how you're going down, not if. Lol.

That chap on the left was not expecting thunder was he. ha! next conversation with him probably went along the lines of "what..!?"

Ah yes, best put your earplugs in after you've just been deafened by the sound of thor gargling some nails :D

Mwhahaha :D

best sounding road bike there is imo :D

You wouldn't be biased at all, would you? ;)

I agree though, an Aprilia V4 with an austin racing pipe is pure racebike, nothing sounds as good.

What exhaust do you have @edd1e on your RSV4? AR?

Edit

That SV (http://mhuber.bplaced.net/) : O  Not sure, whenever Buell Headlights wouldn't look better... hmm
Previous project didn't look too bad either, I'm not too keen on the chrome tank though.

Akrapovic end can with straight through link pipe.

I love the AR's but i want a hope in hell of getting on a track... it's cutting it a bit fine even with the Akra.
