Bikers Youtube thread

Can see the silver Focus move up right behind just as he stops. I could see that happening round here, people seem to hate bikes filtering outside the bigger cities where they're not used to it. Just got to keep an eye out for cars who try to pull off before you or pull up closer when you filter.

A car almost took my brother out the other day filtering, on purpose, got a video of it somewhere actually. Luckily we both had speed on our side :p
 
Whilst I do see idiots who hate you filtering (some try and race off the lights!), I've had a lot of people move over recently.

When I went out on Sun morning, there was a traffic jam on a really narrow road leading to the local tip. There were barriers along the center of the road, so I couldn't filter. Literally 25+ cars all tried moving over to let me squeeze through - I thought that was great :D.
 
Not just the drivers, weekend warrior and season bikers too lol, some awful riding about in this weekends sun, my brother works in ITU and not a nice number of bikers admitted over this weekend..... :/
 
Haha yup, was just saying that yesterday. All these bikers that have suddenly appeared seem desperate to overtake at every single opportunity, blind corners, oncoming cars and all sorts.

Guy just drove off after, looking gormless! She seems really nice as well :( Love his excuse.

Reminds me of when I had my massive car accident and got two broken legs, the guy got out and said 'you were flying up the road'........Ohhh really, so you saw me and then decided you would stop/kill me by pulling out on me.

If I have said this to one person, I have said it to 100. I don't understand the mentality of the driver who thinks:

"Oh Look, What I perceive to be a minor traffic offence - let me just attempt to severely injure the perpetrator".

The same people don't ram speeders in cars off the road, or plough through phone users - so why the extreme reaction to evidently much more vulnerable road users?
