I need something for the garage for kit storage and fancied the look of these.

I would get the double and drill it into the breeze blocks, or the floor standing one.

I like the look of those, would definitely be an improvement of just dumping everything in the spare room.

Quite pricey and wouldn't like my helmet just sitting on one of those platforms =/

Looks cool but it's too expensive for what it is. I already have 2 shelves in my room with a wardrobe pole underneath them for storing clothes. I think I could knock one up that's a bit stronger for heavy motorcycle gear.

A friend of mine has one at work in his work shop placed nice and high to stop the lads knocking in to his lid and also good when your gear is wet and drips in one place I going to buy one for the hall way.

His is a single lid one only 20 notes.

I use the Ikea Breim. It has a bar at the top to hang your stuff from and below that you can put your helmet, and below that all your unused kit

The 'cage' mean it's airy and wet stuff can hang in there to dry. It's £25 I think and currently holds a full winter kit, 2 helmets, 2 leather jackets and a load of extra gloves and misc bike bits.

Oh I'd make it different for sure but for the money they are charging I wouldn't then go out and modify it if I'd bought it.

Thanks, that looks potentially useful. How does it hold up with heavy leathers and bike kit hanging from it? Is it pretty solid and well built?
