Anyone suffer from aches and pains or rheumatism yet due to motorcycling over the years?

and anyone banana shaped haha hunched over from riding

i get mild aches in my legs/wrists:(

I do find I ache more the next day after a longish ride. I rode into London on Sunday to the bike show and on Monday I was a little achy. Of course that's just down to age.

The only proper biking injury I have is a healed broken ankle done back in 1990 when some stupid driver decided she didn't want to give way to her right on a roundabout. In the summer it's not really an issue but come the cold it does ache at times and every now and again it'll really hurt but that pain passes in minutes.

Yup, 35 years in the saddle have caught up with me, as ive never passed my car test I ride all year round, so i'm starting to feel every one of those 35 years.

Bandit 12S, I can't even sit on a sports bike in a dealers without letting out an involuntary groan as my right knee & shoulder protest. :p

The seats are clearly not built for me as both the Honda CBF and my Yamaha scooter leave me with a wee bit of bum ache, I also had a twinge of pain in my left knee the other day from all that shifting but I've only been riding a couple of months so that's the extent of my aches. I need bike for taller riders and a custom made seat.

Get a good compression shirt proskin do some good ones. Seriously reduces the aches on long rides

I really like the cafe racer look though, you know the kind where your back goes "don't you even dare think about it" when you look at it :p

Only been riding nearly 3 years and I can not sit on a proper sports bike. I had a CBR600F and after 2 hours that would make me ache a little bit. My old Bandit 650 was good apart from a wide seat that made me right hip ache.

The GSR750 was spot on and would be even better with a gel seat or similar.

Next up is Linkex's old 1997 ZX6R as I need a cheap bike. Found that fairly comfortable but time will tell.

Oh I did sit on a VFR1200 with the comfy seat and must admit it was pretty amazing even just sitting on it!

Been riding 3-4 years (all year rider)

SV650 -> ER6F -> Vstrom

Can you see a pattern, gone from hunched over to sat up in 3 years, I find I slouch slightly but am actively trying to avoid that. My left elbow aches a bit when its cold but that is due to breaking my forearm at the elbow nearly 2 years back in a bike accident :(

Just clocked up 22 years and while I'm not an everyday rider I'm really starting to like the look of a supermoto. So comfy yet fun to ride.

I have aches and pains everyday but thats from crashing bikes :D

I have long legs so they tend to cramp up but I have that problem on all bikes not just sportsbikes :p

the cold and wet weather must have some kind of affect over the years on your body i think, even if you have the best gear on

My Gen1 Mille isn't exactly the most uncomfortable superbike around but due to previous injuries and getting older (44 this year) I suffer from sore wrists and back issues when I ride it. As with most superbikes, get it out on the open road at speeds above the national limit and it all starts to make sense and not hurt. Pootle around in town or at lowish speed and that's when I start getting sore.

To that end I'm kinda toying with looking at moving to something less uncomfortable. Something 'supermoto' in style maybe. Or perhaps I'll go back to a BMW, something like an older K1200RS. Maybe a Multistrada? And I've also been looking at Aprilia Shivers and Dorsoduros. Lots of oddball options out there. I'd miss the big Mille like hell but I dunno how much longer I'll manage to put up with the aches and pains!
