Biking Aches N Pains

conked out of petrol last night, forgot I was on reserve:rolleyes:

had to push it to nearest petrol station, this morning my knee is swollen up

just not used to excerise:eek:

gen2 .. I had a new K6 gsxr thou and my ridding buddy had a gen 1 rsvr but although i loved the engine in the gixxer my arms and wrists were in agony.. The rsvr was better but still to low but i fell in love with the engine .

Tried a few other nakeds but could not find anything as good as the tuono

having terrible aches and pains lately, around the chest and wrists area

think I might go see the doctor, first winter ive suffered this badly

Glad its not just me thats feeling like this !
Did my first ride of the year on my Duke 749 this Saturday, did over 100 miles and my back and arms are aching today.
Was a great ride though ( dam cold ) went from nr ilminster to weymouth to west bay and back to weymouth ( via costal road )

Anyone suffer from aches and pains or rheumatism yet due to motorcycling over the years?

and anyone banana shaped haha hunched over from riding

i get mild aches in my legs/wrists:(

get a compression shirt(proskin one is good) helps with the muscle soreness over long rides.

You must be really old, my Fireblade doesn't make me ache (much).

I don't think its age,its just riding year in year out in cold weather most the time, for me anyway, I'm usually very fit

I get them, mild aches but mostly sportsbikes I ride, that's 19 years all year riding as well,I find it hard to believe you don't ache even slightly

well atleast we have all survived all the crazy manic drivers to real middle or old age:D

"puffs on his pipe"

Received my first biking pains (other than crashing) 5 hours of riding a sport tourer with a pillion. 3 hours to destination nice rural windy roads, 1 hour break and then 2 hours back on motorway. I am now in severe agony in my lower back. It hurts to twist, stand up bend my back or to just sit still. Codeine isn't even touching the sides :( What gives!!! I hate motorways.

It must have been the cold weather, don't get any pains ATM,just normal fatigue with a long ride, pays to stop n rest for few minutes now and again

I done 30 miles on my 125 yesterday and my wrist and forearm are aching today, probably from having to twist the throttle all the way round to get any speed :p

Arse ache mainly.
I do get a bit of pain in the lower back though so will be adjusting the handlebars soon.
I have found some Peg lowering mounts online so will order these also as they do make a big difference apparently.
The Versys is quite a tall bike but the footpegs are quite high so don't have much more room than a sports tourer.

Not since I got my Trophy, Used to ache after 2 hour+ ride outs on my other bikes but I can ride my Trophy all day long & get off it feeling the same as when I got on it.
