Bin Shed

Hi all

bit of a random question and may be in the wrong section....

In our flats we have a bin shed and a code to get in, We went to put the bins out this evening but the code has been changed, I cant imagine the housing people have changed it and not told any of us in the block,

My question is

Can you get in without this code?

There must be a way as if the housing people don't know it they will need to get in.... Also I don't want all the bin bags outside the bin shed as its right next to my motorbike..

Is it the mechanical type? If so you can take the back off them and change the code so anyone who had the original code could have done this in about 10 minutes.

Yeah its the mechanical type, I have the code we all got given but now its something different which is odd

I presume you’re pressing C first to clear previous code entries? Have you tried adding a number on in case it changes monthly? E.g. if it was C12XYZ, try C13XYZ.

You’ll probably just have to keen an eye who’s using it, speak to a few neighbours/landlord etc. There may be a simple explanation.

Yeah pressed C haven't tried other digits, The thing is the upstairs neighbour who we don't get on with used it about an hour before and since he put his bin in its changed Thing is he claims its the same but two of us have tried and it clearly aint Stupid T**t he is

That's a good shout actually, I have been trying to think of something to do to get at him that I wont get in trouble for
