Binding a Masters project

For my undergraduate degree we were told to get it comb bound on standard white A4 stock. For my masters we were told to get it hard bound in a proper book, on satin or better A4.

It depends on the uni and may be different depending which version it is.

My EngD thesis had to be spiral bound for the initial submission (pre-viva) and stitched for the final library copy (post-corrections).

The only way to not screw it up is to look at the regulations for the uni/course!

This thread has sufficiently scared me enough that if I get it wrong, I might as well go live in a tree.

I've asked her to get me the details directly from them so there's no mistake, seems silly to screw it up over a minor detail when she's spent the last couple of years hard at it (ooh-err).

Come next Fri it'll all be over and done with, she'll be stress free and smiling again, and I can commence being 'rewarded' ;) for my incredible patience, understanding and support through this difficult period.

Will even post pics if she passes :p

Surely her student handbook will tell her all the ins and outs of what they want and how it needs to be done.

People with a pending masters can't do this themselves?
I'm sure she could yes, but I said I'd find a place to get it done and take care of it to help her out. She works full time in a hospital, and two nights at a private clinic too, plus doing a Masters degree in whatever spare time she has left. Finding the right place and hanging around while they sort it is something I'm quite happy to do for her :)
